The "Event-Driven Architecture" project demonstrates the design and implementation of a scalable, cost-effective, and modern cloud-native solution leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This project integrates several GCP services, including Kubernetes (GKE), Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and Secret Manager, to build a robust event-driven architecture. The core component is a Flask web application that interacts with a Cloud SQL database for data persistence and publishes user-submitted events to Pub/Sub. The published messages trigger downstream workflows, including email notifications via SendGrid.
