Ruba Ibrahim Abu-Shousheh

Creative Designer and Artist adept at teaching contemporary and traditional art with extensive knowledge with over 12 years of experience. Dedicated to detailed lesson plans and monitoring of individual student progress in an innovative workshop setting. participated in numerous exhibitions in several countries and won several distinctions and awards for her work. was one of four artists to be selected and invited to participate in the annual international “Empowering Women Through Painting and Writing” seminar. In 2012 Ms. Abu-Shousheh received the highest award for her painting, entitled "Sky of Amman”. She also participated in “The Sharing Artistic Workshop” at the Academy of Visual Arts , Leipzig, German, 2007.

I was commissioned to lead this mega project that targets to deliver distinctive traditional design based on the heritage of Karbula city, also to reflect the inside beauty of Karbula city. Group of designers participated in this project, my responsibility was:

- Conducted workshop sessions with client to understand the design concept.

- Managed and directed internal meeting with the designers team

- Smooth and facilitate the communications between stakeholders.

- Reviewed and checked the design with senior management.

- Designed the biomorphic and geometric patterns

- Recommend colors and material for best outcomes.

I was assigned to deliver interior design for one of most prestigious companies in Amman. The project objective was to create unique marvelous designs reflecting the harmony which embodied in the natural order of things through biomorphic decorative arts (Mamluk style). The project consists of different work areas such ceiling work, walls work, building doors, design new furniture also design custom traditional fountains related to Mamluk style.

My responsibility:

- Met the client to understand and gather the requirements.

- Worked with team building concept designs.

- Managed cross functional teams.

- Evaluated the cost and resources required to deliver the project.

- Scheduled the project activities and managed the resources.

- Designed the doors .

- Onsite visit, perform quality control & quality assurance based on agreed metrics.ience:
