• Managed the medical equipment planning of St. Georges Hospital in Lebanon after the last Beirut port explosion. I succeeded in leading the biomedical engineering team to deliver all phases of the project although most team members (including myself) had to work remotely. The project was delivered on time and on budget.
• Managed all phases of medical equipment planning of the Abu Dhabi Rehabilitation Hospital. The project is one of a kind in the region, providing in-patient and outpatient rehabilitation services for patients with various injuries and diseases. As the lead Medical Equipment Specialist; I helped the client to tailor the equipment list to best suit the services provided and future proof the Hospital in terms of provision of Electromechanical systems to support upcoming technologies.
• Created new process for updating and maintaining the Medical Equipment library used in projects, to make sure all specifications and requirements of medical equipment are accurate and up-to-date. I trained, supervised and monitored the team of biomedical engineers and administration staff adherence to the process. The result was reduction of errors in deliverables by 80%, and shorter turnaround time.
