• Ensure customs declaration for compliance with Jordan Laws and regulations. Including value of goods, Tariff codes, country of origin and enclosed documents. Reporting any violation of prevention and restriction Laws including IPR Laws, inspecting goods, ensure correct sequence and terms of procedure for all types of customs declarations.

• Conduct analysis and reports on disputes in goods evaluation, technical support for customs clearance centers, report on Customs violations related to goods value, Reporting and Conducting researches regarding Valuation affaires, audit Commercial correspondence, holding customs valuation training (internal and external).

• Established clear performance expectations for staff members which led to increased accountability. Define training needs, provide technical support, monitoring disorders in valuation affairs and conduct necessary research and analyzes to reform, determine and follow up on corrective actions, modernize and streamline valuation applications, keep up with international scene on valuation, represent Jordan Customs on valuation affairs events, correspond and Follow up on valuation issues in WCO, maintain value data base.

In addition to operation manager responsibilities below are site leader responsibilities.

• Manage span of 150 employees across 5 functions.
• Setting up long-term workforce strategy and strategic direction for Jordan site to support organizational goals across regions.
• Owning deliverables across Jordan site compliance business functions
• Implement continuous improvements frameworks
• Oversee and ensure creation, revision and improvement of mechanisms that support development of skills of Jordan compliance team that align with Compliance Operations.
• Ensure that inclusion and diversity principles and practices are applied
• Build hiring strategies in partnership with Recruiting to attract talent
• Manage a span of 150 employees
• Adopt team structure to emerging priorities.
• Execute based on compliance long-term strategy and vision
• Owner of MENA region compliance operation cross sites.
