- This was an entirely new venture for the school and I was part of the team that developed the concept and put it into practice over a 16-month period.
- This gave me experience of working on the SMT, with contractors and the marketing department.

- I had to manage the closure of this house over a six-month period to enable it to be converted into the new Junior Boys house.

- This post covered all the normal aspects of a Head of Department from inspection paperwork to examination reports and development of the courses taught at each Key stage.
- One of the more innovative aspects of the job was development of a departmental tracking scheme for all pupils, which dove tailed with baseline testing to provide a basis for assessing progress throughout the school year.
