The work includes conducting several studies such as:

• Environmental site analysis.
• Sun path analysis.
• Light and glare analysis.
• Thermal analysis.
• Wind load tunneling and analysis.
• Sound insulation analysis.
• Structural analysis.

The deliverables is a full set of documents that includes IFC for the facades package that includes all related documents such as drawings, specifications and BOQs related to the façade package.

My role was to provide the regional market with high level of specialized engineering services in the glazing and Façade industry.

The main activities can be summarized in the following:

• Façade and curtain wall design and value engineering that includes system, safety, function, wind, structural, acoustic, optical and thermal evaluation.
• System Design
• Review or preparation od Façade Tender documents
• Review and evaluation of Financial and technical offers of Façade contractors
• Structural Calculations for Façade Works, either preparation or evaluation and authentication
• Shop Drawings for Façade Works, either preparation or evaluation and authentication
• Site supervision for Façade Works

• Specialized Glass Industries Group is a holding company that was established as a construction facades conglomerate
• My role was to plan and implement the group strategy which was built around a large capacity and technologically advanced glass coater, with goals of becoming the leading fabricator, installer, and distributor of glass, aluminum, steel, and stone.

• Established the company which represents a Swiss / German glass manufacturer (GlassTrosch / Euroglass) in the Middle East and Gulf Area
• During the two years the company opened 3 branches in Lebanon, Syria and Kuwait and had more than 12 employees covering UAE, Qatar, Saudi, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon
• The company supplied glass for a long list of prestige projects in the area.

• A Glass Fabrication Factory based in Dubai and owned by Leaders Aluminum
• Production lines: Cutting, Polishing, Beveling, Sand Blasting, Tempering, Ceramic Fritting, and Double Glazing
• 45 employees and 8 million Dhs turnover after one year
• In 6 months shifted the company from loss to profit situation.

• Employed as a consultant for 18 months with a mission to achieve the following tasks:
• Expanding the factory to double the production capacity
• Updating and adding new production lines
• Putting and implementing a new working procedure
• Implementing an updated quality system
• Achieving ISO certification
• Creating a new marketing identity for the company and implementing a new marketing and sales strategy
• Technical training for employees and production staff
• All goals achieved after 12 months.

• Stared as Assistance Technical Manager and promoted after 16 months to Technical and Marketing Manager
• Manage the marketing and technical teams
• Among the duties were specifying projects, evaluation of awarded project, getting consultant approvals on products, preparing all type of technical calculation and submittals, preparing all marketing material, creating a new company identity, and supporting quality control department and production to update quality system
• During my work with the company I have developed and introduced several new product such as:
• Lamart: a new innovation in the glass industry at that time
• The first ever BSI certified Bullet Resistance Glass in the Gulf Area
• The first ever UL listed and approved Fire Rated Glass in the Gulf Area
• Orix: A safety solar control glass that was produced using the lamination process and in a range of unique colors and was installed as annealed un-heat treated glass

• Heading a team of engineers to provide digital 3D Modeling to the architectural sector which included 3D images and Animations for projects
