  • Issuing daily/weekly/monthly/when needed reports showing the state of public databases in terms of their validity, problems based on them, and others.
  • Regularly reviewing and managing database security, which requires adding or canceling some users and organizing their powers to ensure the confidentiality and security of data and according to the approved policy in the bank
  • Studying, providing solutions and applying them to close the gaps that appear in the internal audit reports, according to the approved periodicity, to ensure that the bank’s databases are free of any gaps.
  • Follows up with the supplier of the banking system on problems related to the structure of the databases
  • Implementation of new database projects
  • Manage and update the operating systems (AIX & Linux) and storage units (SAN Storage) and ensure that they are efficient and work on all services and are free from any problems through a periodic review of the analytical and control files
  • Implementation and follow-up of procurement procedures for devices and licenses related to databases
  • Conducting a study and determining the work needs of operating systems, databases, communication and providing technical support to all parties that deal with the database
