During my one-month surgical elective, I gained valuable experience:
- Conducted histories and physical exams, and prepared case profiles presented to the attending physician, enhancing my clinical skills.
- Engaged in case presentations and discussions on surgical topics, expanding my knowledge.
- Scrubbed in on surgeries and emergencies, learning operating room protocols.
- Managed follow-up care and addressed recovery concerns.
- Familiarized myself with working on electronic medical records.

During my orthopedic surgery elective, I gained valuable experiences:
- Communicated with patients regarding treatment options and concerns, established strong rapport with them.
- Ample exposure as first assistant in procedures, including ACL repairs and knee replacements.
- I was exposed to various procedures; broadening my technical skill set in minimally invasive techniques.
- Assessed patients in the outpatient clinic demonstrating my commitment to patient care and efficient workflow.
This experience presented an opportunity for me to grow my critical thinking and problem solving skills in the setting of orthopedic and acute trauma
surgery.

During my time at Dr. Hameed's clinic, I took part in and accomplished the following:
- Assessing and presenting patients for Dr. Hameed.
- Updated patient database for projects on diabetes, hypertension, and other projects that were worked on collectively with other clinics associated with
Dr. Hameed's clinic.
- Participated and presented at Global Population Healthcare Management Forum webinars, which encompassed a wide spectrum of subjects pertaining
to patient care in the primary setting and were discussed during daily morning calls with physicians across the world.
- Led discussions on physician burnout and the possible precipitating factors.
- Educated patients on management plans and wellbeing improvement.

The Specialty Hospital requires rotations across all major specialties and subspecialties within a 1 year program.
- Holding the position of the Contact Person for the interns, serving as the link between them and the hospital administration and staff.
- Assisted residents by filling out patient data and notes on the hospital's electronic health records.
- Introduced a new template and order set to be used uniformly on the electronic health records for the Obstetrics and Gynecology department.

- Assisted in organizing and running multiple station at the annual Specialty Hospital Basic Surgical Skills Lab.
- Volunteered in numerous community healthcare days offered at the hospital.

Mumkenn is an application I cofounded with a colleague. Its goal was to provide a platform for local businesses to showcase their products nationally:
- Empowered small local businesses by designing a platform that connected them with customers, revitalizing local economies and facilitating growth
for independent workers and craftsmen.
- Collaborated with diverse teams to gather feedback, ensuring the app met user needs, which enhanced my communication and teamwork skills.
- Oversaw the development process to ensure that key milestones were met and projects were completed on schedule.

Fikra 3al Mashi, a Kurt Hahn award-winning NGO, is dedicated to supporting refugees by providing educational resources and essential life skills to
facilitate their integration and future success. In my role, I was responsible for:
- Managing communications and ensuring that all operations were organized and efficient.
- Actively participating in workshops, sometimes taking on the role of a teacher, allowing me to engage directly with the participants.
- Conducting in-person checks on potential locations for training sessions.
- Member of the committee responsible for selecting educational resources and assigning trainers and trainees.

Being a member of the Jordanian national rugby team instilled in me the values of teamwork, discipline, and resilience. My experience as a competitive
athlete taught me the importance of strategic thinking and quick decision-making. The rigorous training required to perform at a high level fostered a
strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous improvement. As a dedicated team player, I understand my role in achieving shared goals and excel
in collaboration with teammates. Overcoming challenges together enhanced my communication skills and ability to perform effectively under pressure,
qualities that I am eager to bring to my future surgical program.

During my experience as a mass vaccinator during the COVID-19 pandemic, I gained invaluable insights:
- Established rapport with patients, providing clear information about vaccine procedures and addressing their concerns.
- Volunteered my time and skills during a critical time, fulfilling my moral and ethical duty as a medical student while collaborating with healthcare
professionals to streamline the vaccination process, ensuring efficient operation and prioritizing patient safety.
- Adapted to rapidly changing protocols and guidelines, remaining calm and effective in dealing with distraught patients.
- Trained in preparing, administering, and managing possible complications of vaccine administration.

During my tenure, I gained valuable experiences:
- Facilitated research exchange experiences for foreign students in Jordan, promoting intercultural collaboration.
- Coordinated research exchange opportunities for Jordanian students internationally, expanding access to diverse academic experiences.
- Cultivated positive relationships within the organization and with international partners, enhancing my ability to communicate effectively across
cultures.
- Delegating tasks efficiently and providing constructive feedback to ensure success.
This experience strengthened my commitment to global citizenship, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and research in addressing health
challenges across diverse communities.

I was the project leader on multiple key projects:
- Help Us Help You: organized roundtable discussions between members of the community and healthcare professionals in Al-Karak Hospital to tackle
instances of inappropriate actions towards doctors. Solidified that by opening the discussion to the general public, which led to very productive
conversations that proved fruitful onwards.
- Women Empowerment in Medicine and Breast Cancer awareness Campaign: As part of Mutah University medical day, we had two booths. The first
of which was responsible for sparking conversations tackling cultural norms surrounding the role of women in medicine and the workforce as a whole.
The latter was concerned with raising awareness for breast cancer

• Provided one-on-one tutoring sessions, tailoring instruction to meet the specific needs of each student while promoting independent learning skills.
