Malware-Detection And Files Monitoring Tool

I created a GUI computer program that can monitor, find, and remove computer viruses and other types of malwares from your device by using Signature-Based Detection.

This tool protects the integrity of our files by using the C# programming language, huge databases of dangerous file hashes, the VirusTotal API, MetaDefender Cloud and others.

In order to combat a wide variety of dangers, we designed our project to make the fewest demands on available resources and to amass the most comprehensive database of information feasible.

If the computer is not connected to the internet, the program will do a signature-based scanning of the files using the local hashes database.(I create a tool that collect the hashes automatically from virusshare.com)

If the computer is connected to the internet the tool will use the local database, MetaDefender Cloud, and VirusTotal API to do the scan.
